A Bridgeport woman who had been living out of car for months tells News 12 she will not be homeless much longer.
Pat Morales says her GoFundMe goal was exceeded – allowing her to purchase a high-end RV to live out of.
Almost $10,000 was raised and Morales is grateful for every donation.
"Something said to check my GoFundMe page and I looked at it and I just stared, like, 'Oh, my gosh! Is this serious? Am I reading it right?!"
Morales had been living out of her car months, because even though she says has a good job, she was unable to afford housing.
After seeing a News 12 story on her,  a local RV dealer offered Morales' new home to her at discounted price.
Morales will also be able to have her SUV repaired and outfitted so it can pull the RV whenever she travels to.
