The Bridgeport mayor's office is asking employees to help out with the city's finances by taking furlough days.
City officials say employees are being asked to take five unpaid days off before the end of June and another five days off after July.
Employees can have the days docked from each paycheck to minimize the impact.
Officials are hoping the move will help close the city's multi-million dollar budget gap.
