Chilly night ahead, warmer temperatures expected later in the week

News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Michele Powers says it's going to be a chilly night ahead. Powers say frosty is likely as temperatures dip into the 30s. She says the region is still looking at a warmup later in the week.
The National Weather Service has issued a frost advisory for North Fairfield and North New Haven counties between 2 a.m. to 9 a.m. Sensitive vegetation will be impacted. A spring-like warm up is on the way this week. Looking at a stretch of some 70s starting Thursday into the weekend.  Rain looks to hold off until late Sunday or Monday. 
MONDAY: Sunny skies. Cool. High of 60.
TUESDAY: Sun and clouds. High of 64.
WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny. High of 67.
THURSDAY: Warmer. Potential record, high of 73.
FRIDAY: Mostly Sunny. High of 74
SATURDAY: Warm. High of 76.
