A very humid summer pattern has developed and will stick around for most of the week.
On Tuesday, temperatures will jump up into the lower 90s and it will feel like it's 100 degrees outside. The air quality will remain poor.
There will be periods of rain, localized heavy downpours expected at times.
A slow-moving cold front sits out to our west and the tropical remnants of what was Chantal is to our south.
Temperatures will sit in the lower to middle 70s and dew point temperatures will stay in the 70s too.
The cold front will stall out in the area through the week and become the focus for more showers and thunderstorms.
Temperatures will start to cool more by Wednesday and Thursday as the front tries to move south of the area.
The humidity stays high through the week.
