A Bridgeport apartment building filled with smoke and deadly gas this morning, forcing residents out into the street in frigid temperatures.
Firefighters raced to the scene around 3 a.m. on East Main Street.
They say a boiler malfunctioned, spreading smoke and carbon monoxide.
They say all the residents can return once they finish ventilating the building.
No one was hurt.
