Representatives from the Department of Housing Preservation and Development say they?re taking their message ?to the streets? as part of a campaign to spread information on home ownership and tenant rights.
Officials say the Home First program is specifically targeting neighborhoods with high immigrant populations and distributing pamphlets in a number of languages. Representatives will continue the initiative through the end of the July.
The agency says it hopes to enlighten residents on a number of housing issues including low interest loans and affordable housing.
