The 4-year-old boy rescued from a burning apartment by a Bronx man was released from Jacobi Medical Center Friday.
Horia "Billy" Cretan, who pulled Christopher Ramcharran and his grandfather from their burning apartment on Zerega Avenue Thursday, will be honored by borough leaders later Friday.
Cretan was reunited with Ramacharran's father, who thanked him for saving his son's life. The 4-year-old boy told News 12 he considers Cretan his friend.
Ramacharran will continue his recovery at a relative's house.
