Brooklyn man starts seasoning company with produce from his garden

A Brooklyn man is starting his own seasoning company after the coronavirus slowed down his catering business.
Thomas Mulzac says he was attending school in Los Angeles when he started catering.
When the pandemic hit and events were canceled, he came back to Brooklyn and started a new project.
His new company, Mealzac, creates seasoning out of produce that he grows in his garden.
Thomas says he wanted to create seasoning that had no GMOs and filler, but also allows people to make quality meals.
"We wanted to really tap into the authenticity of these flavors without using GMOs and MSG because we really wanted to highlight these cultural flavors in their essence," Mulzac says.
Mealzac is sold online, but Thomas says he’s hoping to see his products on shelves in retail stores
