Stratford Superintendent Janet Robinson says Bunnell High School will close for two weeks after the Stratford Board of Education was notified of two additional COVID-19 cases in the community.
A letter from the superintendent says the high school will move to a distance learning model for the two weeks.
The letter further directed any student or staff who has been in direct contact with a positive COVID-19 case to quarantine for two weeks. It encouraged people to self-monitor for symptoms not notified by a nurse or the Health Department.
The plan is to resume the district's hybrid model on Oct. 12, according to the letter.
