Three workers at the new Yankee Stadium have removed a Boston Red Sox jersey that had been planted at the construction site.
Team officials say they've been in touch with the District Attorney's Office to determine whether legal action should be taken.
It took workers about five hours to locate the jersey Saturday and another 30 minutes to remove it Sunday.
The jersey will be shipped to Boston where it will be auctioned off at a Pediatric Cancer charity event. Some Bronx residents are questioning the safety of the construction site in the wake of the mischief.
