Buses replace trains for some Danbury commuters

? Bus service started replacing some trains on Metro-North?s Danbury line Thursday morning as crews replace railroad ties. The work will only affect the Branchville, Redding, Bethel and Danbury Stations.

? Bus service started replacing some trains on Metro-North?s Danbury line Thursday morning as crews replace railroad ties.
The work will only affect the Branchville, Redding, Bethel and Danbury Stations. Metro-North says passengers using northbound trains that depart from Branchville at 9:16 a.m., 11:37 a.m. and 2:37 p.m. will be bused to each station along the route.
Commuters who ride on southbound trains leaving Danbury at 9:55 a.m., 12:42 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. will also be bused.
The track work is expected to continue until Dec. 5.
