Four-legged responders from across New England were in Greenwich Wednesday brushing up on their skills.
The Greenwich Police Department hosted a special training seminar for cadaver dogs.
They loaded the dogs on a boat and brought them on to Long Island Sound to see if they could track down divers under the surface.
Police say the dogs are trained to let their handler know when a body is near.
Police say the dogs are an important resource because it's quicker and more efficient than having divers combing the water.
