A socially distanced candlelight vigil was held at the High Plains Community Center in Orange Saturday to remember the victims of the Atlanta spa shootings.
Speakers discussed the shooting and the importance of discusiing the experiences Asian-Americans face on a daily basis.
Forensic scientist Dr. Henry Lee, who attended the vigil, says because the country is made up of immigrants - there should not be hatred towards Asian Americans.
Lee tells News 12 it was a good sign that the crowd at the vigil was diverse.
