Dozens of local Little League players got the chance to get new gloves and meet a baseball great Saturday.
The owner of the Stamford Ford Lincoln car dealership bought 150 new baseball gloves to give to Stamford Little League players.
The children were also able to meet former player and manager Bobby Valentine who signed the gloves, posed for pictures and offered baseball advice to the Little Leaguers.
This was the second year the dealership's owner organized the event and says he plans to continue to give back and do it again next spring.
