 Car strikes pedestrian on I-95 in Greenwich
A person was hit by a vehicle Saturday on I-95 in Greenwich, state police say.
It happened near Exit 3 north around 2:25 a.m.
State police say serious injuries were reported.
The highway remained closed until 10 a.m. while police investigated, and drivers were asked to avoid the area.
Greenwich police say people should expect heavier than normal traffic near Hamilton and Railroad Avenues and Arch Street.
They ask drivers to use alternative routes if possible.
