CCSU student infected with meningitis on campus
A Central Connecticut State University student was infected with meningitis on the college campus, state officials say.
The Connecticut Department of Public Health confirmed meningitis in at least one student at the campus in New Britain on Monday.
A state laboratory confirmed the student was infected with meningococcal meningitis B.
Officials are warning students and staff who came in contact with the student receive antibiotics as a precautionary measure.
