An attorney says two charges have been dropped for the teenage girl who operated a boat involved in a deadly tubing accident in Greenwich.
Emily Fedorko, 16, died after her tube got caught in the boat's propeller in Long Island Sound in August 2014.
Attorney Mark Sherman says prosecutors chose to drop some charges, including negligent operation of boat, in exchange for a lesser charge.
The 17-year-old driver of the boat was given a $35 fine.
Sherman says the case is now closed.
