A Milford resident will be unveiling his "Mobile Santa" workshop this Friday at the city's annual Lamplight Stroll.
Rick George has been a "Santa's helper" in southwestern Connecticut for the past 28 years.
The Mobile Santa photo studio started out as a simple trailer back in June.
Since then, George and a few of his friends have spent their nights and weekends framing out and finishing what they hope will be a holiday hotspot for kids and their families.
"It's the North Pole on wheels and when we're fully operational and set up, there will even be a mailbox on the back for children to leave their letters to Santa," George says.
George plans to park his workshop outside various local charities and collect donations, which he says he will leave as a holiday gift before moving on to the next spot.
