Family and friends gathered at Stratford and Union avenues in Bridgeport to unveil a permanent memorial banner for Brandaja "Daja" Winston.

The 28-year-old Bridgeport Housing Authority worker was an innocent bystander killed by a stray bullet during a 2024 drive-by shooting.

Police confirmed she was not the intended target.
