(AP) - Attorneys for a Connecticut city where a 16-year-old girl was stabbed to death at her high school are set to argue in court that claims against the city in a wrongful death lawsuit should be dismissed.
Sanchez's mother accuses school officials of failing to take appropriate actions after Sanchez told them she worried Plaskon might harm himself or others several months before her death. Milford's lawyers deny the allegations.
Plaskon is serving a 25-year prison sentence. Authorities suggested he was upset Sanchez rejected his prom invitation, but his lawyer denies that.
