The heat and humidity look to stick around for Saturday, which could spark up a few afternoon showers and storms.

Once tonight's storms move out, the weekend looks much quieter overall. An isolated shower or thunderstorm remains possible late Saturday, but most of the day will be dry with a mix of sunshine and warm temperatures. Sunday and Monday feature plenty of sunshine and seasonably warm conditions before scattered thunderstorms return Tuesday.
Temperatures remain above average through the forecast period, with highs climbing back near 90 degrees by Tuesday before settling into the mid- to upper 80s by mid next week. Humidity levels also remain on the high side throughout Tuesday as well.

Thursday: Partly sunny. Highs in the mid- to upper 80s.
