WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
A winter storm pushes through The Bronx overnight and into the first half of Saturday, bringing snow showers through the early afternoon, around 2 p.m. to 3 pm. This could bring a quick coating to an inch of snow. There could be some rain trying to mix in which could make sidewalks and roads even more slippery.
Sunday will still be a close call with a nearby coastal storm that the News 12 Storm Watch Team has been monitoring over the last few days. If this storm comes a bit more North, it could bring the borough another round of snow throughout midday on Sunday.
After a brief reprieve from brutal temperatures Saturday, frigid conditions will return for the late weekend and much of next week. Brace for single digit feels-like temperatures.
