Who you vote for might be changing next year. Connecticut’s Reapportionment Commission approved new state Senate boundaries Tuesday.
The map looks very similar to the current lines, with some shifts in Fairfield County due to population growth. Stamford now has three state senators. State Sen. Will Haskell (D-Westport) will now represent part of the city. Haskell will swap a portion of Weston with Republican state Sen. Tony Hwang, who takes part of Bethel from Haskell.
Bridgeport, Stratford, New Haven and Hartford all keep their current districts.
The commission will miss a Nov. 30 deadline to draw new congressional seats. Members are asking the Connecticut Supreme Court for a three-week extension.
