Communities in southwestern Connecticut spent Monday preparing for overnight wintry weather.
Up to an inch of snow is possible in parts of the region.
Norwalk officials said utility crews spent Monday getting ready for the storm to ensure roads were safe for the Tuesday morning commute. Officials said they had 6,000 tons of salt in stock for the season.
They said 10 trucks were filled with salt and were ready as needed.
