The Community Health Center of Danbury is adding Covid-19 testing sites this week in response to the recent spike of cases in the city.

On Monday, testing will be available at Broadview Middle School from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
On Tuesday, testing is available at Rogers Park Middle School from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
And the Community Health Center of Danbury location is a permanent testing site that offers testing Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Testing is free and no appointment is needed.
As News 12 has reported, the state Department of Public Health issued a "COVID-19 alert" for Danbury on Friday, citing a "significant spike" in cases in the city. It urged residents to avoid unnecessary travel, especially for those over age 60.
