Southwestern Connecticut residents enjoyed unseasonably warm weather Sunday.
"It's like we're living in California," said resident Andra Vebell. Vebell spent the day "tossing the ball around" with family and friends.
Some daring residents enjoyed the weather clad in T-shirts and shorts, while others took the opportunity for an unusual January stroll on the beach. Ice skaters in Westport told News 12 Connecticut it was warmer than they're typically used to for skating.
Meteorologists predict the temperature will be in the high 50s by Tuesday, before dropping back into the 40s throughout the week and down to the 30s by next weekend.
