Connecticut has added Hawaii, South Dakota, and the Virgin Islands to its COVID-19 travel advisory list.
Gov. Ned Lamont made the announcement Tuesday, but says Alaska, New Mexico, Ohio, and Rhode Island have been removed from the list.
According to Gov. Lamont, anyone traveling into Connecticut from a state that has a new daily positive test rate higher than 10 per 100,000 residents or a state with a 10% or higher positivity rate over a seven-day rolling average are directed to self-quarantine for a 14-day period from the time of last contact within the identified state.
In addition, anyone entering from one of the identified states on the list must fill out a travel health form upon arrival. Travelers can fill out the form

Recently, Gov. Ned Lamont announced that health officials issued fines to people who did not follow rules, including filling out a travel advisory form and self-quarantining, after traveling from states with high COVID-19 cases
