Connecticut Against Violence will host a virtual youth summit live streamed from Bridgeport due to the coronavirus.
Speakers include Bridgeport Mayor Joseph Ganim, Bridgeport's acting schools superintendent, and Connecticut's U.S. attorney.
The event will be held Friday from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
It will focus on gun violence, social media, substance abuse and the importance of education.
Friday's event will mark the group's seventh since beginning its mission.
