The Connecticut Air National Guard conducted a flyover Thursday over state hospitals in honor of health care workers.
The flyover started in Torrington around 11 a.m. and ended in Enfield.

The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and Navy Blue Angels flew over the tri-state a few weeks ago to honor essential workers on the front lines of the coronavirus pandemic.
The Flying Yankees of the Connecticut Air National Guard's 103rd Airlift Wing conducted Operation American Resolve.

The C-130H aircraft took flight over Torrington around 11:08 a.m.
The aircraft flew over 26 Connecticut cities and towns including; Danbury, Greenwich, Stamford, Norwalk, New Canaan, and Bridgeport. 
Residents were encouraged to watch the flyover from their homes while maintaining social distancing.
