More than 100 Connecticut dentists were in Danbury today volunteering their time for patients who need dental care, but can't afford it.
The free clinic was held at Western Connecticut State University.
Volunteers from the Connecticut Mission of Mercy organized the clinic and say they plan to serve more than 2,000 patients over two days. Dr. Robert Schreibman heard about this taking place in another state, and four years later brought it to Connecticut.
The clinic continues tomorrow.
