? Connecticut anglers were at the Norwalk River Saturday for the first day of trout season.
Some say they prefer to use worms, while others favor artificial bait. Eric Johnson, of Westport Outfitters, says he sells a lot of both. Norwalk resident Gilbert Turner has been fishing with his brother Barry for more than 25 years.
The Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has stocked Connecticut waters with 400,000 farm-raised, mercury-free trout for fishermen. The DEP also issues licenses for fishing.
