Connecticut gyms, hotels, and amusement parks are slated to reopen today after being closed during the coronavirus pandemic.

Connecticut gyms, hotels, and amusement parks are slated to reopen today after being closed during the coronavirus pandemic.
The reopening is part of Gov. Ned Lamont's reopening committee's phase two plan.
Gov. Lamont says once phase two gets underway that 95% of the economy will be back open in the state.
He calls the reopening strategy "cautious and appropriate."
Restaurants can now offer indoor dining at 50% capacity. Gyms can also open at 50% capacity.
Personal services like nail salons, spas and tattoo parlors will reopen with appointments only.
Libraries and hotels will reopen, and movie theaters and bowling alleys will reopen too. 
Amusement Parks Quassy will open on Saturday, and Lake Compounce will be open to the general public on July 6.
Museums, zoos, and aquariums can now open their indoor exhibits.
The Maritime Aquarium will reopen to the general public on Saturday.
Most businesses and services were shut down in mid-March due to the spread of the coronavirus in Connecticut.
