Another name will appear on the ballot for governor in November.
The Independent Party of Connecticut has officially nominated Rob Hotaling by one vote.
Bob Stefanowski had pushed for a cross endorsement to get a second line on the ballot along the Independent line after Gov. Ned Lamont received the Connecticut Working Families nomination last week.
Stefanowski and his running mate Laura Devlin were both at the party convention in Guilford lobbying for votes.
In the end it was a tie, and the chairman of the party broke it by voting for Hotaling.
