Connecticut's new women's professional hockey team is off to a strong start.
The Connecticut Whale won their first two games in the newly founded National Women's Hockey League and sold out their home opener at Chelsea Piers in Stamford.
Connecticut's Anya Battaglino says she's living a lifelong dream that, less than a year ago, seemed impossible.
"I would write professional hockey player every time," Battaglino says, when asked as a child what she wanted to do when she grew up.
"It's been the craziest experience just coming up and saying 'I'm going to do it' ... and I'm doing it," says Battaglino.
