The state’s spring wild turkey hunting season begins Wednesday, April 29, and runs through May 30.
Officials say legal hunting hours are from one-half hour before sunrise through sunset. Hunters are allowed to harvest a total of five bearded birds during the season, the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection said.
Those planning to hunt on a Sunday must do so on private land under state law.
