NOW & NEW: Storm Team Meteorologist Michele Powers says there is a risk of showers late Friday and after midnight. Temperatures will be in the 50s overnight. It will rain early Saturday but sunny in the afternoon. Temperatures will fall in the afternoon and get down to the 30s at night.
NEXT: Sunday will be dry and cooler. It will be cold going into Monday. A storm Tuesday and Wednesday could bring some snow and wintry mix to start for northwest Connecticut. Mostly cold rain to the south. Thanksgiving looks windy and cold.
NIGHT SKY:
ISS flyover tonight, but sky conditions are fair at best. Better chance of seeing the flyover tomorrow night.
The beautiful crescent moon will hang low in the evening twilight in the southwest sky.
Leonid meteor shower peaks tonight and tomorrow. Better viewing conditions Saturday night with the weather and Sunday. Look for bright and fast meteors after midnight. The forecast in the attached gfx is for Saturday night/early Sunday morning due to weather.
