The state Supreme Court is scheduled to hear an appeal Monday from a Greenwich man who murdered a convenience store clerk in 2009.
As News 12 has previously reported, Alain LeConte is serving a 90-year prison sentence for killing Norwalk gas station attendant Jose Joaquin Morales during a robbery spree in 2009.
Police say he also hurt a Greenwich gas station clerk and robbed a bodega in Stamford during a three-month span that year.
LeConte says his rights were violated during his trial because the judge would not let him confront witnesses. He also says the judge kept his attorney from cross examining his accomplice.
