Stamford police need help identifying the women shown in surveillance video spending thousands on a stolen credit card.
Police say the suspects went on a shopping spree at the Stamford Town Center, racking up thousands of dollars on a stolen American Express card before the victim was aware of the theft.
The victim told investigators she took her eyes off her purse for less than two minutes. Police say the thieves were already spending minutes later.
Surveillance video shows a woman buying two laptops at the Apple Store. Officials say the suspect then went to Target with another woman, where they tried to charge another $1,700.
Police are hoping someone recognizes the women.
Stamford police say credit card theft is one of the most common crimes in the city.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Stamford Police Department.
