Cleanup crews are hard at work picking up a major mess at some of the city's parks following Memorial Day celebrations.
At the Bronx's Crotona Park, the smell of grilled burgers and hot dogs has been replaced by the odor of trash. Many people left piles of cups, food trays and other items scattered around the picnicking areas.

News 12 reached out to the city's Parks Department about the condition of the borough's parks after the long weekend, but has not yet heard back.
