Crime rates up on Metro-North

A new report finds crime is up slightly on Metro-North The report from the MTA says through August of this year, there were 107 felonies. That is compared to 91 for the same period last year.

A new report finds crime is up slightly on Metro-North
The report from the MTA says through August of this year, there were 107 felonies.
That is compared to 91 for the same period last year.
The were a total of 72 larcenies reports and 29 were aboard trains.
Five others involved shoplifting in Grand Central Terminal.
Railroad officials say most of the reports are theft of personal belongings, especially when commuters fall asleep.
