State police arrested a man accused of eluding troopers on Interstate 95 in Norwalk on Thursday.
Police said the incident happened last month as DOT workers were working to establish traffic detour routes along I-95 in Norwalk following a tanker collision and fire to the overpass bridge.
Police said Vladimir Ruales-Espinosa, of Stamford, ignored the officers’ direction by accelerating on a motorcycle and going around the trooper’s cruiser.
Police said Ruales-Espinosa narrowly went around DOT workers, putting them at risk.
Ruales-Espinosa posted a court-set bond of $75,000 bond and is scheduled for arraignment at the Stamford Superior Court.
