The Connecticut Rail Commuter Council hopes a picture is worth a thousand words when it comes to fixing Metro-North stations.
Chairman Jim Cameron announced a program Thursday where commuters are urged to take cell phone pictures at stations and e-mail them to the council. The pictures will be posted on the council?s Web site, sent to the Department of Transportation (DOT) and to Governor Jodi Rell (R-CT). Rell ordered the DOT to inspect all stations after Cameron complained about lights being shorted out at the Darien station when it rains.
Many Connecticut straphangers told News 12 Connecticut the biggest problem they see is in bathrooms.
