Connecticut Congresswoman Jahana Hayes is on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine.

The first black woman to represent Connecticut in Congress appears on the front of the magazine's March issue.

The title is "Women Shaping the Future."

Hayes, who represents the state’s 5th district, stands alongside House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, freshman Congresswomen Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, and Ilhan Omar, of Minnesota.
