A pilot program is looking to make the return of bus fares easier.
Token Transit will allow riders to buy passes via their smartphones.
A Connecticut Department of Transportation commissioner says it is a way to modernize the busline.
All you have to do is download the Token Transit app, or related ones like Agile Mile, and tickets are good for two hours. Drivers validate the tickets.
Bus fares return on April 1.
