The Connecticut State Library in Hartford has received a nearly $1 million federal grant to help transfer tangible public records to a digital repository.  
Sen. Richard Blumenthal and Connecticut’s first female state librarian, Deborah Schander, announced a $948,800 federal grant to support the Connecticut State Library's effort.
The funding awarded through the National Archives and Records Administration will support the library’s transfer of archival public records to a secure digital repository.
