Some stores in Connecticut are seeing a rush of people looking for goods they hope could serve as protection against the coronavirus.
News 12’s Suzanne Goldklang was outside Connecticut Surgical Inc. in Norwalk where customers were buying medical masks.
Connecticut Surgical says isolation gowns and protective booties were already bought up by the state Department of Health.
Officials say there are no confirmed cases of the coronavirus in Connecticut.
President Donald Trump held a news conference Wednesday about the situation and said Vice President Mike Pence is in charge of the national effort.
