After winning the FPHL Commissioner's Cup for the first time in franchise history, the Danbury Hat Tricks got to celebrate with the fanbase that rooted them on all year. Fans came out in droves to the Danbury Ice Arena Tuesday night to rub elbows with the best team in the league.
Players signed autographs, took pictures, and thanked the fans and community for their support all season.
"It's really just a great day. It's the culmination of a lot of hard work, not just for the organization, but for the fans," said Matt Caputo.
The Hat Tricks announced a championship parade set for this Sunday in Danbury.
