Darien girls lacrosse wins FCIAC for first time since 2019

The rain could not stop the blue wave Wednesday night. No. 2 New Canaan jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the FCIAC Championship, but No. 1 Darien was able to battle back to win 11-7.

The rain could not stop the blue wave Wednesday night. No. 2 New Canaan jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the FCIAC Championship, but No. 1 Darien was able to battle back to win 11-7.
North Carolina-bound Chloe Humphrey scored 6 goals in the game en-route to being named the MVP.
It is Darien's first FCIAC title since 2019. New Canaan had won two straight league titles.
