A Darien mother showcasing her secret hacks throughout the pandemic is now a TikTok star.
Shannon Doherty, 36, says she makes 15-second inspirational mother videos with her four children using just a tripod, phone and ring light.
The videos show parents a wide range of topics from home school stations, fridge organization, running your own business and more. Doherty says she got the idea from her own mother during the height of the pandemic, when her businesses were shut down and all four children were home.
She says the social media platform gave her a chance to communicate with other women and help promote a "mom boss" mentality.
Doherty's TikTok account has nearly 160,000 followers, and she says she hopes to have 1 million by the end of the year.
