Two local teams won state titles in football this weekened.
Darien High School won the Class LL state championship 39-to-7 against Shelton Saturday.
They say the win feels even more special because they lost last year in the championship game.
Meanwhile, New Canaan won their third straight Class L state title.
They beat North Haven 42-35.
