State police say a Bridgeport man died after his dump truck hit an overpass on I-91 in New Haven.
They say the truck went off the highway and landed on a street below.
Dave Chavannes, 50, was killed in the accident yesterday morning.
The wreck closed the ramp and caused a major traffic jam during yesterday's commute.
